Mental Health
STAR CENTRE
Provide a supportive drop-in centre for Hounslow residents with low to moderate mental health needs. Provides a safe environment for social contact, leisure activities, training (inc. maths and IT) and hot meals. The centre does not offer therapeutic interventions or support for individuals with high level mental health needs.
Support Offered: Social Club, Quizzes & Games, Hot Meals, IT Classes, Peer Volunteer Training, Signposting
Eligibility Criteria: 18+, Hounslow Resident, Low/Moderate mental health needs

TOGETHER HOUNSLOW REFUGEES
We offer free one to one specialist culturally sensitive therapy for refuges, non – EU immigrants and asylum seekers living in Hounslow.
Services consist of: Counselling is offered in Farsi, Dari, Pashto, Urdu and English
Available to: 18+ residents of Hounslow

S.T.E.P.S (Supporting Transitions through Emotional and Practical Support)
S.T.E.P.S is a project funded by the London Borough of Ealing. S.T.E.P.S. stands for Supporting Transitions through Emotional and Practical Support. Our project supports people and communities in Ealing to build resilience and to improve their mental health and well-being through integrated schedule of community information and signposting, education and specialised support.
Core volunteering activities within the project
- Volunteer in a supportive team-based environment
- Promote mental health and wellbeing in the community
- Share your lived experience(s) in mental health-related topics with the community
- Opportunity to gain new skills through various sub-roles
Eligibility Criteria: The role does not require any prior professional skills , Be an Ealing resident , Have lived experience(s) in mental health
Employment and Training Support
IPS WORKS
Employment support project for people with common mental health issue form BME communities in North and West London.
Support Offered: Developing new skills, finding suitable employment, building resilience and learning to cope with stress, anxiety and depression.
Eligibility Criteria: 25+, BME (Black and Minority Ethnic), Living in Brent, Unemployed for 12+ months. Presenting with common mental health issues.

Women’s Services
ASCENT
Support to BME women and young girls who are survivors of DV and/or sexual violence.
Support Offered: 1:1 counselling, group support and safety planning
Eligibility Criteria: 16+, Female, Living in Brent, Current or past experience of domestic violence or abuse.
