Clarissa is committed to addressing systemic inequalities related to justice, economic wellbeing, health and housing. Clarissa has been a proud Ealing resident since arriving to the U.K in 1993, and is a passionate advocate of local services with 20 years’ experience working in the third sector. She has worked tirelessly to combat the wider issues of inequality that can impact the the every day lives of people and their futures.
Reflecting her commitment to community, Clarissa has worked in a variety of roles, including: mentoring, working with vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals and families, and developing front line services.
Clarissa has been the recipient of various awards: community hero in 2008 and 2009, a London mayor in award in 2012 for mentoring young people not in employment, education or training, a national Citizens Advice award in 2014, and best employee of the year in Hammersmith and Fulham 2016. Clarissa is also a current nominee for the DSC ‘Outstanding Contribution Award’ 2020.
