Women's Services
Ascent
Ascent provides service for those affected by sexual domestic violence and abuse in London through the provision of frontline services as well as support to voluntary and statutory organisations. We work in delivering a range of services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence and abuse.
Casa
This is a Pan London service funded by the GLA to provide housing and specialist support for BME women and children who have experienced domestic abuse and are moving on from refuges and need resettlement in the community. The aim of the project is help women with complex needs recover from their experiences, take back control of their lives and go on to lead positive safe lives in the future.
Complex Needs
The project helps women to access services (brokerage, advocacy) and also develop their own opportunities for health, wellbeing, leisure and social contact, working on a strengths based approach. We aim to empower women, improve their level of health, as well as decrease their dependence on services as they gain the skills and knowledge to successfully recover from the inter-related issues which can impact negatively on their lives.
DV Aftercare Recovery
DV Aftercare Recovery Service offers a structured service working within a ‘step down and move forward’ approach for women who have experienced domestic abuse. We provide women with culturally competent counselling, group-based support and aftercare which with the hope of enable women to move forward and achieve their long-term recovery goals.
