Understanding addictions for self, friends, carers and relatives (half-day)

People living with any addiction – be it to gambling, alcohol or substance misuse – can have complex and difficult lives. This workshop is for those who are interested in learning about addictions, are either dealing with addictions personally or someone close to them i.e. family or friends. (For frontline staff who may be working with people experiencing addictions, our workshop on Working with addictions will be more appropriate). We will look at what is an addiction, its impact on you and others, and making manageable changes.
